Patent Research Patent research is billed hourly based on the field of technology and type of search. The total project budget in terms of time is set by the client based on a quote we establish after reviewing the involved technology and related search areas. Trademark Research For truly exhaustive, high quality results, trademark research must be performed on PTO terminals. Full trademark searches are just $50.00. Trademark copies can be shipped, or emailed for $1.00 per trademark.

Technical Drawings Drawings are produced and billed on an hourly basis. The rate for two-dimensional patent drawings is $35.00 per hour. The rate for three-dimensional patent drawings is $45.00 per hour. The rate for non-patent, three-dimensional solid modeling and corresponding drawings is $55.00 per hour. Drawing time is billed in 10 minute increments. Sample drawings and their associated costs are available by request.

Patent/Trademark File Histories Paper Copies are $.75 per page. 24 hour rush delivery is available for a $50.00 surcharge. Please indicate in the order form whether patent and/or non-patent prior-art references are desired.

Shipping/Delivery Patent research reports and small Trademark file histories may be faxed for $5.00. Shipping of complete file histories and search reports with prior art patents is charged the exact rate of the client's choice of shipping carriers.

Hand Deliveries Deliveries within the old Arlington USPTO campus and new Alexandria USTPO campus are $25.00 per delivery. Deliveries outside the USPTO are charged at $25.00 per hour. Most deliveries within the entire D.C. metro area including those to the Copyright Office on Capitol Hill run under 2 hours.

U.S. Patents and Published Applications Copies: $2.00 per patent, Jumbo Copies: $4.00 per patent (over 50 pages)

International Patents Copies: $5.00, Jumbo Copies: $10.00 (over 50 pages)
